The Emerging Young Corporate Leaders Fellowship hosted its June masterclass in person at the University of Ghana Graduate Business School. It brought together young professionals and experienced speakers for a practical conversation about career growth, workplace readiness, professional value and intentional leadership.

Eric challenged participants to assess their values, strengths and weaknesses before entering the workplace. Even when the environment is difficult, young professionals should give their best, build their networks and remain valuable. During national service, they should offer help, seek feedback and continue growing—even when no one is watching.
Kweku Osei-Sarfo
Kweku reminded participants that a degree may open the door, but attitude determines whether one remains in the room. He encouraged young professionals to speak up in meetings, communicate their value, understand workplace culture and protect their health intentionally.

Joshua presented five important success buckets: knowledge, skills, networks, resources and reputation. Together, these elements help young professionals build the capacity, relationships and credibility required for sustainable growth.
